The wife of a Red Sox clubhouse attendant who has been accused of sexually assaulting teenagers decades ago at the Youth Development Center in Manchester says she believes her husband is innocent.

In an exclusive interview with News 9, Susan Murphy said she feels powerless as the latest court date for her husband, Stephen Murphy, approaches.

"I'm just hoping the truth can come out, because it just doesn't make any sense," she said. "The stories don't add up, and it's just not fair to ruin someone's life."

Susan Murphy said the past six years have been a nightmare for her family.

"I just want to wake up one day and not be scared," she said.
