HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Chad Evans was the meteorologist on-duty on November 6, 2005. He had just recently started working the weekend weather shift at News 25.

“It didn't really feel like a severe weather kind of evening,” Evans said. “And then after midnight at the Evansville airport, the temperature actually rose. And the wind really picked up from the south. And I remember thinking it just had a completely different feel outside.

News 25 began continuous coverage around 1 a.m. as the storms began to strengthen. Reports then started coming in about the damage done to the Eastbrook Mobile Home Park.
