Two men have been charged over their alleged involvement in the shooting of an underworld figure, but police are yet to find those responsible for carrying out the killing.
Amar Kettule, 34, was gunned down on a western Sydney street on July 10, 2021, in what investigators have described as a well-planned murder.
The 34-year-old, who was well-known to police due to his underworld connections, died at the scene.
Detectives executed search warrants at homes in Bossley Park and Austral, both in the city's west, just after 6am on Thursday.
A 23-year-old man was arrested at the Austral address, while a 22-year-old man was arrested in Bossley Park.
