Nanticoke, N.Y. — A man and woman were charged with felonies after a road rage stabbing in Broome County on Tuesday.
Around 8:30 p.m., troopers responded to a stabbing on Route 26 in the town of Nanticoke, according to Trooper Aga Tinker, a State Police spokesperson.
A road rage incident between two vehicles escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in a 40-year-old man being stabbed.
The victim told police that an unknown man and woman got out of their car and came up to his car. The woman is accused of grabbing the victim by his sweatshirt, while the man is accused of stabbing the victim in the upper body, troopers said.
The man who was stabbed and his passenger were able to flee the area and later called 911. He was taken to Wilson Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening
