LINN COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - Three people were arrested in Linn County last week after Oregon State Police say they found two kilos of fentanyl, cash, and a gun stashed in a hidden compartment during a traffic stop.
OSP says a K9 trooper pulled over a driver for a traffic violation along I-5 near milepost 216 in Linn County on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The trooper reportedly noticed signs of potential criminal activity during the stop and brought out a drug detection K9.
After the K9 alerted the trooper of possible drugs in the car, the trooper received consent to search the car and found a hidden compartment, according to OSP.
The department says two kilograms of fentanyl powder, a handgun, and a large amount of cash were found inside the compartment.
