Liberal leader Sussan Ley has faced a broadside from the Canberra press pack amid growing speculation her days as leader are numbered.
Ms Ley attempted to bat away mounting speculation her leadership qA under threat, after Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson declared she "could not support things the way they are" and the leader was "losing support" within the party.
At a press conference in Canberra, Ms Ley was asked if her “days leading the party were numbered”, as she tried to take aim at the Albanese government over the cost of living.
But Ms Ley refused to “comment on commentary”.
“I lead a ... very proud team that represents (Australian’s) values,” she said.
When drawn specifically on Ms Henderson's explosive comments on Friday, Ms Ley could not even name the Victorian Liberal Senat
