CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The search continues for a Cherokee County man who has been missing since Sunday after walking away from his home with his dog.

Canton Police said they are searching for 61-year-old James "Greg" Powell after he left his home Sunday at 9:09 a.m. His vehicle was found at the River Green Tennis Courts at 111 Raquet Club Drive.

"There's no sign of him. It's like he disappeared," said Cynthia Foley, who is Powell's ex-wife and the mother of his two kids.

She said he has been living out of his Honda CR-V with his dog Ally for quite some time, but was always in constant contact with his kids.

Powell left home with Ally, who was found several days ago, according to a social media post from the National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc.
