BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Something had to give. Both Bryan and Killeen entered Thursday’s season finale 0-9, seeking their first wins.
Killeen spoiled Bryan’s senior night 34-20, which snapped a 19-game losing streak for the Kangaroos. Bryan finished the 2025 season 0-10.
Why did Killeen win? The Kangaroos went to the air and took advantage of big plays. Four of their five touchdowns were passing TDs, and all could be considered “big plays” (49, 19, 25, and 66 yards)
Who stood out? Christopher Robertson stood out for Killeen. He caught three touchdown passes plus a two-point conversion. His first score came in the second quarter on a 19-yard pass from D’Angelo Ingram. He then caught the two-point conversion to take a 14-3 halftime lead.
