The Frederick Flying Cows will move from The Basketball League to the re-launched United States Basketball League for the 2026 season, the team announced Thursday.

The USBL previously existed from 1985-2008 and established itself as a proving ground for future NBA stars such as Muggsy Bogues, Manute Bol and Spud Webb. The Flying Cows will be one of 15 teams to tip off the newest version of the USBL next year, joining several former TBL franchises, including the Capital Seahawks, Virginia Valley Vipers, Jersey Shore Breaks, Reading Rebels and New York Phoenix.
