FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) - Sisters of St. Mary health officials broke ground on a $15 million expansion of its cancer care facility in Fond du Lac.

The existing facility was built more than 30 years ago and helps serve patients from 29 counties.

This new expansion will bring multiple cancer care services under one roof, including medical, radiation, and infusion services.

Officials plan to add 12,000 square feet of new space, as well as more parking.

The new expansion is expected to open in early 2027.
