HAMPDEN -- The Skowhegan River Hawks defeated the Mt. Ararat Eagles 3-0 to take home the Class A North title and advance to the state title game.
The first half saw both teams display great defense, with each goaltender making a number of doorstep saves.
But it was the second half where the River Hawks offense took off, and they would score three unanswered goals to reclaim the Class A North title and advance to the state title game.
