The Telangana High Court on Thursday criticised the state government and departments concerned for the alleged construction activities in the prohibited bio-conservation zone around the Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar reservoirs, and warned that it would stall all such activities.

After hearing the arguments, a division bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G M Mohiuddin granted three weeks to the government and departments concerned, as well as the private parties, “by way of last indulgence”. “If no counter is filed, we will proceed to issue interim orders,” the bench said.
