Hoteliers across Sydney are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the UK band Oasis.
Liam and his older brother Noel Gallagher are getting ready to entertain close to 300,000 people this Friday and Saturday after playing to a similar number of fans in Melbourne.
Like most major rock acts their gigs are limited to Sydney and Melbourne, forcing fans to travel interstate and to find accommodation, in the process filling Sydney’s hotel rooms.
Accor Pacific chief operating officer Adrian Williams described the eagerly anticipated event as a “Champagne Supernova” for weekend tourism.
