The Colorado volleyball team’s winning streak came to a halt in a top-25 showdown.
The 20th-ranked Buffaloes fell behind early and couldn’t complete a comeback bid, dropping a four-set match at No. 13 Kansas as the Jayhawks posted a 25-20, 25-15, 26-28, 25-19 victory.

After the Jayhawks won the first two sets, the Buffs prevailed in a spirited battle in the third set, rallying from a 24-21 deficit and surviving match point twice before staying alive with a 28-26 win. CU couldn’t maintain the momentum, though, as Kansas jumped to a 12-6 lead in the fourth set before keeping the Buffs at bay the rest of the way.
