EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Another exciting night of high school football, is on the horizon, but before we turn the page to Friday, we have another player of the week winner to announce.

First though, let’s take one final look at who the nominees were. Number one was Mater Dei’s Caden Thacker. The Wildcats’ tailback ran for 221 yards and scored five touchdowns.

Nominee two was Gibson Southern’s Zach Foster. The Titans’ QB was 19 for 33 passing for 194 yards, and also 72 rushing yards, and had three total touchdowns.

Our third nominee was Dalton Pledger. The Heritage Hills tailback posted 23 rushes for 110 yards and two touchdowns. He also helped out on defense, with 5 tackles.

Our final nominee was Dremail Carothers. Owensboro Catholic’s signal caller went 28 of 29 passing for 414 Yard
