Haughton High School alum and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott returned to where it all began as the school dedicated their field after him.

Usually it's a Friday night where we see stadiums packed with fans, but Thursday night in Haughton, the stands were packed to see their former quarterback come home.

From his entrance featuring fireworks, to the hype video of him throughout his football career, to his speech thanking the community, there was one thing that was made clear, Prescott is forever a Haughton Buccaneer.

"It was an amazing blessing. Something I don't take for granted. Just being from here, understanding how hard these people love, who these people are and that's why I told them I am from Haughton. And I'm so proud to to be a buccaneer."
