Srinagar, November 07: The Economic Offenses Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir busted a major land scam in Anantnag, accusing ten individuals in connection with a fraudulent land compensation case in Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The official statement says that a legal document has been submitted in case FIR No. 12/2015, which includes serious charges under the Ranbir Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, to the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption in Anantnag.

During the investigation, certain officials of the Revenue Department, including Tehsildar Dooru, Naib Tehsildar Dooru, Girdawar Dooru, and Patwari Dooru, were involved in a criminal conspiracy with private individuals and manipulated forged revenue records to facilitate the illegal disbursement of compensation funds.
