CONCORD — Who better than a freshman to lead a team with no seniors?
San Ramon Valley flag football began the 2025 season without any fourth-year players, looking up at a number of senior-laden squads in the vaunted East Bay Athletic League.
Now, the rest of the North Coast Section is looking up at the Wolves after SRV, led by freshman receiver and linebacker Tatum Prindiville, mounted a stirring second-half comeback to overcome a touchdown deficit and win the first-ever North Coast Section Division I flag football championship at Clayton Valley Charter High School.
Prindiville was at the center of it all, catching two touchdown passes, making several key stops on defense and winning game most valuable player honors.
