Fearing loss of minority votes to the BRS, Congress and AIMIM have deployed party workers from Old City areas to campaign in minority-dominated localities of Jubilee Hills. The BRS has gained traction among Muslims through welfare schemes, posing a challenge to rivals.
Hyderabad: Fear of losing minority votes to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party , the rivals Congress – AIMIM have rushed in their party workers from the old city to Jubilee Hills constituency for the campaign.
Scores of AIMIM party and Congress workers from areas such as Barkas, Jahanuma, Kalapather, Bahadurpura, Hussainialam, Charminar, Tolichowki, Malakpet, Saidabad, Tappachabutra and other are seen canvassing for Congress candidate V Naveen Yadav in the minority dominated areas of Jubilee Hills constituency.
