WASHINGTON — The Cavs were able to breathe a sigh of relief late Wednesday night and into Thursday.

Even though versatile forward Dean Wade, part of the team’s every-night rotation, will miss Friday’s road game against the Washington Wizards because of a right eye contusion, the injury is not considered serious.
