Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly begun shooting for her next film, which is a biopic on legendary Marathi folk performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar and has been titled Eetha. The actress will be playing the tutorial role. Fresh updates mention that she has reportedly begun training in Lavni, the traditional Maharashtrian dance form.

Midday has quoted a source saying, “With her mother Shivangi Kolhapure being Maharashtrian, Shraddha is deeply steeped in the culture. Another advantage was her dancing skill since it formed a big part of Vithabai’s life story. Shraddha picked up Lavani and Gavlan, the two folk dance forms that originated in Maharashtra. They are widely used in Tamasha, which traditionally combines storytelling with singing, dancing, and satire."
