Karnataka cabinet on Thursday, 6 November, approved the new Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-2030.

The policy aims to establish 25,000 startups over the next five years, out of which up to 10,000 startups will be located in clusters beyond Bengaluru. It plans to do this through funding from Beyond Bengaluru Cluster Seed Fund.

The policy will cost ₹518.27 crore in a span of five years.
