Coach DeSean Jackson wondered last week if the glare of the bright lights and national spotlight undermined Delaware State early in its MEAC football showdown with Norfolk State at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

The Hornets did take charge late to score a 27-20 win over the Spartans, coached by Jackson’s ex-Eagles teammate Michael Vick.
