Srinagar: A Kashmiri doctor working at a private hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur has been arrested and handed over to the Jammu and Kashmir Police for his alleged involvement in putting up posters in support of the banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Srinagar, officials said on Friday.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Vyom Bindal, the accused, identified as Adil Ahmed, hails from Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir and was employed at a private hospital in Saharanpur. “He was taken into custody by the Srinagar Police on Thursday in connection with a case registered there,” Bindal said.
