ALLIANCE, Ohio — A Facebook post from the Alliance Police Department is getting lots of attention on social media that shows what happened when an officer responded to a suspicious activity call, which involved a man in a cowboy hat riding a bull in the Walmart parking lot.

Upon his arrival at the scene shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, Alliance police say officer Hook found the bull and rider in the lot of Tractor Supply Co. in the 2500 block of West State Street.

“I have so many questions,” you can hear the officer say in body camera video when exiting his vehicle at the scene.

The officer was quickly introduced to the animal named Gus.

“Can I pet Gus?” the officer asks.

“Absolutely!” the person responds. “You can get on Gus if you want to.”
