Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) were severely disrupted on Friday after a major technical fault hit the air traffic control (ATC) system, affecting more than 400 flights across domestic and international carriers, including IndiGo, Air India, Air India Express, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air. The Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) jointly confirmed the issue, saying that technical teams were working to restore operations.
