Springfield will be moving and grooving Saturday afternoon.
The iconic PorchFest is back this weekend in the historic neighborhood, where dozens of porches will be ringing with music.
The free community event kicks off Saturday at noon and wraps up at 8 p.m., and will feature food trucks, art vendors, craft beer, live music and more.
The festival is mainly in the southeast quadrant of the neighborhood, but here are a couple of options to get there: • Bethel Church: grass lots off 1st Street and Rudolph McKissick Blvd available all day; Main Lot available after 1 PM (215 Bethel Baptist Street) • Florida Department of Health (1214 N Pearl Street) • FSCJ Downtown Campus (101 W State Street) • UF Health Parking Lot J (UF Health lot between 9th and 10th, Perry and Boulevard)
