DENVER (KDVR) — The Avon Police Department is searching for a man who was reported missing on Oct. 31, but appears to have been missing for days beforehand.

The department said that it needed the community's help to locate Pablo Araya Rojas, who was reported missing a week prior.

The agency said that officers were actively investigating and working with his family to try and ensure his safe return. On Thursday, the Avon Police Department shared some updates on the investigation.

The agency said that on Oct. 20, Rojas was physically seen by a friend at about 4 p.m. in West Avon, and that his phone was last active in the West Edwards area on Oct. 21.
