CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man is facing charges related to a deadly double shooting in north Charlotte earlier this month , police say.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a reported shooting on Oakwood Road, just off Statesville Avenue, around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 2. When officers arrived, they found 23-year-old Caleb Johnson and 32-year-old Prince Tribble suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men died at the scene.
Detectives determined the incident was isolated and the community wasn't at risk of another attack.
On Thursday, CMPD arrested Rodriguez Chambers, 22, in connection with the case. Chambers is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, discharging a firearm in the city, possession of a firearm by a felon and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He's scheduled to appear in co
