Renowned legal academician and former Vice-Chancellor of National Law Universities at Bhopal and Lucknow, Prof. Balraj Chauhan , urged the educational institutions of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to rise to the needs of the islanders and develop their curriculum and syllabus to provide answers to the issues faced by the island population.

While addressing the faculty and students of Andaman Law College (ALC) on Friday evening, Prof. Chauhan underlined the importance of understanding the local realities of the islands, especially in the areas of forest, wildlife, and social issues . He assured to extend all possible support to the Law College in its academic and institutional endeavours.
