DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for much of The Wiregrass, including Houston, Geneva and Covington counties.

Visibilities as low as a quarter of a mile (or lower) are expected to continue through much of the morning commute.

The advisory is in effect for Dothan, Houston County and Geneva County until 8 a.m. It continues in Covington County until 9 a.m.

Pockets of patchy to dense fog are possible elsewhere across The Wiregrass, but we will clear out quickly once the sun fully rises.

As you drive, commute, travel, etc. early Friday morning, allow yourself a few extra minutes on the road this morning, drive slowly, and allow enough distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
