A cold front will bring below-average temperatures and the possibility of snow to central Pennsylvania.
Temperatures will climb into the mid-50s to low 60s on Friday, ahead of the approaching cold front. Showers are expected to develop across the region Friday evening and continue overnight. Rainfall amounts will generally range from one-quarter to one-half of an inch.
The cold front will push through on Saturday, ushering in much cooler air. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will reach the upper 40s to low 50s in much of the state, although the Harrisburg area is expected to be warmer . Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s.
There is a chance for a wintry mix or light snow showers, especially across the northwestern mountains and Laurel Highlands, on Sunday.
