Harvesters, based in Kansas City, serves surrounding counties in Missouri and Kansas. The food bank warned on Nov. 3 that with the need being "incredibly high" due to the shutdown, lines for food at distribution sites and pantries may be longer than usual.
Harvesters provided a link to its "Food Locator" webpage, where families can find a pantry and kitchen closest to them.
