The Pakistani Marine Agency, on Thursday, seized an Indian boat with eight fishermen near the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL). Sources revealed that the boat, named Nar Narayan, was set out for fishing from Junagadh’s Veraval. However, last night, it was seized by the agency, as it entered the no-fishing zone.
The boat consisted of eight fishermen, and all of them were arrested by the Marine Agency. Among those eight fishermen, seven are from Gujarat’s Junagadh, while one is from Maharashtra.
The Pakistani sea authority has arrested nearly 125 Gujarati fishermen till March 2025, accusing them of entering Pakistani waters.
