SAN JOSE — Several new restaurants and shops are heading to Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose as the destination mall adds a burst of merchants ahead of the holiday shopping season.

The new arrivals are slated to include an Asian food hall, a site for gamers, an Asian restaurant and new clothing retailers, according to officials with Westfield Valley Fair.

“Fall at Valley Fair represents the perfect convergence of fashion, innovation and experience,” said Sue Newsom, senior general manager at Westfield Valley Fair , which is owned by France-based real estate firm Unibail Rodamco Westfield.

Here are some of the new merchants that are slated to open their doors sometime this fall at Westfield Valley Fair:
