A man facing charges in connection with an incident where he was found lying on a Cocke County interstate highway last week, is also wanted on other charges in other places.

Brandon Scott Mountain, 39, was charged October 30 with Disorderly Conduct.

According to a report from the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Interstate 40 mile marker 444 westbound where Mountain was found lying on the roadway. During an interview, Mountain said that he had “walked” from North Carolina. Deputies told Mountain that it was illegal to walk on an interstate highway. When asked for identification, Mountain refused to provide information.
