District 5-6A boys basketball provided an exciting and entertaining year in 2024-25 and the upcoming season figures to offer more of the same.

Teams lost considerable talent to graduation, as is the case every year, but some programs will be feeling that sting more acutely, while a few are grateful for the amount of starting talent they get to utilize for another year.
