Nominations for the 68th Grammy Awards will be revealed on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025. The announcement will begin at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET and will be streamed live on the Grammy website and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
A lineup of notable presenters will announce the nominees, including last year's Grammy winners such as Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, and Brandi Carlile. Other presenters include Angélique Kidjo, CeCe Winans, David Foster, Dr. Chelsey Green, Jon Batiste, Little Big Town, Lizzo, Masaki Koike, Mumford & Sons, Nicole Scherzinger, and Sam Smith.
This year’s nominations will cover all 95 Grammy categories. Only recordings released in the U.S. between Aug. 31, 2024, and Aug. 30, 2025, are eligible. Notably, Taylor Swift's album "The Life of a Showgirl," released in October 2024, will not be included in this year's nominations but may be eligible for the 2027 awards.
Several artists are expected to be strong contenders for the Album of the Year category. Sabrina Carpenter's "Man's Best Friend," Lady Gaga's "Mayhem," Laufey's "A Matter of Time," Justin Bieber's "Swag," and Bad Bunny's "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" are among the anticipated nominees. Kendrick Lamar, who won five Grammys last year for his song "Not Like Us," is also in the running for his album "GNX," released in November 2024.
In the Best New Artist category, critics suggest that Olivia Dean, Alex Warren, sombr, Leon Thomas, and Lola Young may receive nominations.
The 68th Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, at the Arena in Los Angeles. A host for the event has yet to be announced. This year’s awards show promises to showcase a diverse range of talent and music from the past year, continuing the tradition of celebrating excellence in the music industry.
