Tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are now on sale . Among the 11 cities in North America set to host World Cup matches, the only one in the southeastern United States is Atlanta .

Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be the site for eight soccer matches during the FIFA World Cup next year, including a Round of 32 game , Round of 16 and a semi-final match on July 15 .

The stadium also is the home stadium for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons. It will also be the site of Super Bowl LXII in 2028.
