Former USC and NFL linebacker Keith Browner has died after suffering an apparent heart attack, according to TMZ . He was 63 years old.

Keith Browner Jr., who also played in the NFL, told TMZ that his father was throwing up and tired Monday night and was planning to go to the hospital Tuesday morning. However, he collapsed as he was getting set to head to the hospital, according to the report.

Keith Browner played at USC from 1980-83 before being selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the No. 30 overall pick in the 1984 NFL Draft .

He would go on to play five seasons in the NFL, spending time with the Bucs, Raiders, 49ers and Chargers.

In addition to Browner, five of his brothers also played college football, with three of his brothers reaching the NFL.
