Lionsgate has released the first teaser for “Michael,” giving audiences a glimpse of Jaafar Jackson stepping into the role of his uncle, the legendary Michael Jackson, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

The teaser highlights Jaafar as he recreates his uncle’s signature dance moves from iconic stage performances and music videos. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the biopic is set to premiere in theaters and IMAX on April 24, 2026, following several delays from its original fall 2025 release date.
