SRINAGAR : A 26-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances near her residence in Ghari Kote area of Thakrakote, Reasi, on Friday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

An official said that the woman identified as Rita Devi, wife of Romal Singh, was found lying in suspicious condition close to her house, prompting immediate police response.

Upon receiving the information, SHO Arnas along with his team and FSL experts reached the spot and launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of death.

The body was shifted to the District Hospital Reasi for post-mortem.

Police have taken cognisance, and further inquiry is in progress. (KNC)
