Police have named the man they've charged with a series of offences, including making threats to kill, after a terrifying knife incident in Coventry . Officers were called to Beckbury Road in Walsgrave early on Thursday morning to reports of a man wielding a blade.

Officers subsequently took a man in his 30s into custody. They've now named the individual and listed a series of offences he's been charged with ahead of a court appearance.

A spokesman for Coventry Police said: "A man has been charged after making threats with a knife. We arrested a man yesterday (Thursday) morning, following reports of a man carrying a knife outside a property in Beckbury Road, Coventry.
