New Delhi (07.11.2025): As reported by Indianmandarins on October 24, 2025, tenures of Petronet MD and CEO Akshay Kumar Singh and Director (Technical) Pramod Narang have been extended by the Board of Directors for two years. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas supported an extension for Singh and Narang. The five-year term of Singh was set to end in January 2026. The extension was approved by the Board in a meeting on November 7, 2025. Reportedly in the last week of October, 2025, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas had requested a three-year extension for Singh to ensure continuity, citing his performance and good relations with the government.
