LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities are searching for a suspect in a shooting in the Pelion area.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said 32-year-old Jacob Hill is considered a person of interest in a shooting that happened Friday morning on Hartley Quarter Road.

Hill is described as being around six feet tall and around 155 pounds with tattoos on his left arm. LCSD said he was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Lexington County School District 1 said all Pelion-area schools are in secure status, meaning all exterior doors are locked and no one is allowed in or out of buildings.

No further details were immediately available.
