Agartala, 7 th November 2025:. A tragic accident involving a school bus took place this afternoon around 2 PM in the Madhuban Kathaltali Bypass area, leaving one pedestrian dead and eleven students injured.

The bus belonging to Montfort School was returning from school when it reportedly lost control while attempting to avoid hitting a woman crossing the road. The vehicle broke through roadside railings and crashed. The deceased, identified as Khela Sarkar, a resident of the Rail Bridge locality, was out feeding her goat as part of her daily routine when the incident took place.
