Gujarat: As part of the celebrations marking the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel flagged off the Janjatiya Gaurav Yatra from the sacred shrine of Maa Amba in Ambaji. The initiative, held under the “Tribal Pride Year Festival,” honours the legacy of the revered tribal freedom fighter and highlights the enduring contributions of tribal communities to India’s history and development.

Journey of Pride and Awareness

The Janjatiya Gaurav Yatra will cover two major routes, Umargam to Ekta Nagar (665 km) and Ambaji to Ekta Nagar (713 km), collectively spanning over 1,300 km through Gujarat’s tribal regions.
