ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ’s (NHTSA) “Click It or Ticket” campaign will run from Nov. 22-30 as many families will start their holiday travel the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.

Beginning Monday, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) is launching a separate initiative with local law enforcement agencies to enforce Georgia’s seat belt and child passenger safety laws prior to the start of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday travel periods.

The GOHS “Click It or Ticket” safety bus will make stops during the week of November 10-14 in Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah and Macon to support GOHS Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (H.E.A.T.) units.
