New Delhi: The Jashpur Jamboree in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district has redefined tourism by seamlessly blending local culture, nature, and adventure. Organized by the district administration from November 6 to 9, the four-day festival is offering visitors from across the country a vivid experience of Jashpur’s lush valleys, traditional arts, and warm hospitality.
In the village of Kere, eight homestays have been set up for tourists, complete with all necessary amenities. This initiative has not only given rural tourism a new direction but also provided local families with an opportunity for economic empowerment.
Guests at these homestays are living not as outsiders but as members of local households, immersing themselves in the rhythms of Jashpur’s daily life, cuisine, and customs. Tour
