Bengaluru: Parappana Agrahara police have arrested a man from another state in connection with a series of two-wheeler thefts from parking areas.
Police have seized 14 stolen two-wheelers, valued at an estimated ₹15 lakh, from the accused.
The investigation began after a resident of Govindashetty Palya filed a complaint on October 22.
He had parked his two-wheeler in front of a hotel in Electronic City, Stage 2, and gone to a relative's house. When he returned at midnight, the vehicle was missing.
Following the complaint, police gathered information and detained a suspicious individual with a two-wheeler near the Huskur fruit market. During interrogation, the man confessed to the theft.
